Your dream garden
A garden should be a living, breathing space that is equally good for people and wildlife. My approach at Sue Andrews Gardens is to work with nature rather than against it, creating gardens that are healthy, resilient, and a pleasure to enjoy throughout the year.
Working in collaboration with you and drawing on my background in garden design and many years of hands-on experience, my aim is to maximise the potential of your outdoor space by creating a garden you love to be in.

Sue Andrews Gardens approach
Every garden and every client is different. At Sue Andrews Gardens, we take time to understand what you want from your garden, whilst taking into account the realities of your soil and space. We create a plan and schedule ongoing visits as required.

My work is:
- Seasonally informed – tasks carried out at the right time for plants and wildlife
- Respectful of existing gardens – enhancing what’s already there rather than starting from scratch where appropriate
- Practical and honest – clear advice and realistic outcomes
- Environmentally conscious – peat-free, wildlife-aware, and sustainable wherever possible
Clients can choose a collaborative approach with guidance and ideas, or simply enjoy peace of mind knowing their garden is in safe hands.

Experience you can trust
I hold a Foundation Degree in Garden Design, am RHS trained and have experience spanning a wide range of gardens — from small courtyards to large estates — as well a Chelsea gold award wining show garden. This allows creativity to be combined with sound horticultural knowledge and practical problem-solving.
My earlier career was in healthcare and I’m a great advocate for encouraging people to use their garden because of the great physical and mental health benefits. I aim for every garden I help with to be healthier, more sustainable, and buzzing with life.
